This is a new scent for me. I discovered Fat & Ash a couple pf years back and decided to dump the commercial brands as I wanted to go more natural when it comes to my morning routine. Goodbye shaving cream, shampoo, etc.
I bought an 8 pack on April 30th. My husband is a heavy diesel mechanic. We've bought box store soap in the past (a manly name brand I'm confident most people would recognize if i mentioned it) which a bar will maybe last him a week. Ive officially timed how long we need to get more. With daily use he's on his 5th bar, I just opened my 3rd. 15 weeks! I'm Absolutely amazed because previously (with that other brand) he was going through 6 bars a month and still kind of grungy). I am so pleased with Fat & Ash. It's just abrasive enough to scrub. It doesn't leave the soap scum feeling. It actually cleans my grease and oil covered husband. I also love tea tree. I can't wait to order more this week.

The packaging was unique and I instantly loved the scent—peppermint and spearmint. Invigorating and calming at the same time!The bar feels like a mild exfoliator (which I enjoy) and is of high quality—a lot of suds, is packed with natural ingredients, and it leaves your skin feeling moisturized instead of dried out like other bars with synthetic fragrances do.Oh, and one more thing—I love that it comes from Ohio!

Scent is great! Not too pungent, and didn't last as long as the bar of soap has. Doesn't dry out my skin, bar actually lasts. I will be purchasing again.

Ivory soap sold out and let us down by removing tallow from their soap. Our family members have very sensitive skin and needed to find a good alternative. This soap by Fat & Ash is excellent quality and does an amazing job — better than ivory did when they still had tallow in their soap.The only cons I noticed have nothing to do with the soap quality or function. Those are perfect.The things I didn’t like were the high price point, a couple of the fragrances (one reminds me of mosquito repellent) and the fact that the bars don’t last as long as I wish they would for the price.But, a couple of the fragrances are very nice, and of course tallow is expensive these days with the war on beef, and the bars themselves are a good size. So the cons are not a deal breaker for us, and we will probably buy this brand again once we run out of our 12 bar supply.

Finally, a soap with all the ingredients I want, and none that I don’t. Tallow based, with a fragrance that lasts beyond the surface. And, while not advertised, it makes an excellent shampoo. Nice hard bar that doesn’t dissolve on contact. Thanks!
Fantastic soap. I bought some a year ago and it's lasted me and my kids all year. Long lasting. Smells great. Doesn't dry out my skin. I bought another brand recently, only because the big box for this brand wasn't listed anymore but thankfully it's back, and it's not nearly as good or long lasting. As long as the big box is in stock I'll be buying it!

I love the scents of all of the soaps. I used to not like bar soaps because a lot of them would leave my hands feeling dry, but I have been using these for a while and am so impressed at how they don't dry out my skin and instead leave my hands feeling even better! I would definitely recommend!

The soaps are great quality with a lovely variety of smells. This is an awesome deal for tallow based soaps and the individual paper wrappings for each soap provide an aesthetic touch.

Love this soap. I’ve only used 1 so far and it’s the tea tree one with tiny exfoliation in my 4 packaged purchase. I have really hard water and use a filtered shower head and while it leaves my skin soft I still feel like I have to have moisturize, but not while I use this beef tallow soap! I always recommend it to everyone now. Thank you keep making truly great soap!
I’ve used this soap for years and refuse to use anything different! It leaves my skin healthy and refreshed and the essential oils have ACTUAL BENEFITS to my skin instead of irritation from synthetic scents. Love love love!!! It also makes the best gift!
